My name is Ryan Pate, and I am currently a junior at Greenwood High School in Midland, Texas. I am very determined to play and commit to college golf. My career low has been a 66 at Nueva Vista Golf Course. I have played golf for six years, and I plan on going on after my high school career to take my game to the next level by playing collegiate golf. Academics are also a major priority to me, as I am an Honor Roll Student as well as a member of the National Honor Society, and I have received multiple academic achievement awards. I also do a lot of volunteer work through my high school's Students in Philanthropy and Interact programs. I would like to attend a college where I can continue to excel both academically and on the golf course continually.
At the 2015 Regional Golf tournament, I won the tournament individually with a score of 68 to advance myself to the Texas UIL State Championship in Austin, Texas at Onion Creek on April 27 and 28, 2015.
