Maryssa Ferries '14 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I’m Maryssa Ferries and I am currently a junior at Tomball High School in Tomball, TX. I started playing golf when I was 8 years old while playing many other different sports (basketball, volleyball, soccer, & softball).  However, as an 8th grader I turned my full attention to golf because I knew that it was my true passion.  Since my freshman year I have been on the Varsity Team by working hard and giving full dedication.  I have qualified to the regional tournament 3 years in a row and am a 2-time District Champion. I take pride in always playing to the best of my ability and having confidence on the course. Also, to insure that I am on top of my game I continue to push myself physically and mentally.  As a member of any team I bring dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment.  Academically, I am very determined and take all advanced classes, striving to keep my GPA as high as possible while maintaining my position as number 5 in my class. I am very involved in my school’s various activities and clubs and will bring the same involvement and attitude to any college.  It was always been a dream of mine to play golf on a collegiate level and I look forward to the future ahead of me.
