Personal Statement

I am currently a junior at Patrick Henry High School in Ashland, VA. I am the co-captain of the varisty golf team and I enjoy beating the boys I play with. I started golf at the age of 2 with my triplet siblings and my goal at the time was to play college golf. I began competing in tournaments at the age of 6 and I have grown up loving the competition of golf. Whether I am playing a game against my family or getting the highest grades in the class, I always strive to win and do my best. I am a straight A student currently enrolled in a program called ACA, Advanced College Academy. This is a program where I earn my Associate's Degree before I graduate high school. This program has taught me how to manage my time with homework, golf practice, and spending time with friends. Thank you for taking your time to read this.

I made the cut by making a birdie on the last hole of the 2nd day. Day 1 was rainy with three rain delays and I didn't play my best. I cut my score, on day two by 12 strokes, shooting a 72, making the cut. I shot a 76 on day three to move up to a tie for 21/59 girls.

This was an inaugural invitational regional Match Play Championship sponsored by PKBGT. My team Mid-Atlantic finished second. My partner and I went undefeated to lead the Mid-Atlantic Team to second place. Day 1 we won 2-1 and the second day we won 3-2.
