Abby Magee '17 Recruiting Profile

Every summer, as a child, I looked forward to attending golf camp at my Grandparent's house, since then my passion for the game has only grown. Playing in high school for the past 3 years has made me even more serious and I know it is something I want to continue for a long time. The game is like life, not everything always goes your way, golf teaches how to be okay with imperfections. My goal is to play in college,  not beacuse I have any intentions on going pro, but because I want to play the game. Every year I have improved and I want to see what I could accomplish in my four years of college. Not everything is easy and I have had to work for somethings. I have learned to appreciate hard work. I maintain good grades, but I go to tutoring and focus on my grades. Golf is the same, it has taken me years of practice, and I am still improving.  I know I still have plenty of potential to be a better player. Through injuries or bad days I always find myself back at the golf course.
