McKenna Knotts '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello!

              I’m McKenna Knotts, a sophomore at Bridgeport High school in Bridgeport, West Virginia. I have played golf since I was 9 years old, starting out on a PGA jr. league at a local golf course. From then, I grew a love for the sport and now play competitively on the Callaway Junior Tour, where I placed 3rd in player of the year and a 1x champion of the Callaway Junior Tour Championship, and on my high school golf team. I hope this upcoming summer, I can play in more competitive tournaments and get more experience playing in bigger events. One thing that I love about golf, is how you can never learn enough. I’m constantly changing, learning, and growing to become the best player that I can be.  Throughout my 6 years of playing, I have learned that mentality is everything, and the mental aspect of the sport is just as important as the physical aspect. Academically, I carry a 4.0 GPA and my studies always come first. I am involved in a lot of different school clubs and activities, including Key Club, student council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and my schools Orchestra. I’m very excited to see where I’ll go with golf, and I look forward to hear from you!
