I started playing golf around 2 years ago at the age of 14 and I quickly fell in love with the sport. I was involved in some other sports growing up like dance and cheer but none of them stuck. I quickly knew that golf would be my sport. What I love about golf is how I'm able to work in a team environment and challenge myself simultaneously.
Choir has been another big thing in my life, I grew up with a love for music and especially the dedication it takes to be involved in Solo and Ensemble. I am lucky to be in such a successful choir program where we get to travel and make other people happy with music. As well as golf I have made the best friendships out of choir, and learned what the true meaning of dedication and hard work truly means.
My goal in my golf journey moving forward is not to be as hard mentally on myself. I learned this past season that I can't always do great, as long as I am trying my best, that is all that matters. I also want to push myself more this upcoming season because I know I have more to show and improve on. This past season has been a learning experience for me, especially with juggling school, choir, and golf but I have learned to push myself because I know I have the capabilities to strive in all if I put in the work. Moving forward, I want to be the best teammate and person I can be and improve throughout my high school years.
