Katelyn Sanders '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Katelyn Nicole Sanders.  In June of 2016, I will graduate from Westside High School in Clearfork, WV.  My collegiate goal is to major in biology or medical-related sciences, and I plan to become an anesthesiologist or optometrist.  Golfing is my secondary passion, next to my education.  I am a good candidate for any women's golf team because of my experience, determination, superb work ethic, and natural ability to adjust.  As of 2014, I have played golf constantly for five years and have a quite extensive list of golfing achievements.  Playing golf in any weather condition, four to six times a week, year round, is nothing new to me.  I alternate #2 and #3 seat on Westside High School's Varsity Golf Team, and, as the only female, I can proudly say I have assisted our team to many victories.  Those include one Conference Championship, two Regional Championships, and many smaller competitions.  In addition, I am different from other recruits because of my extensive academic and athletic background.  I am a member of the Junior National Young Leaders Conference Alumni in Washington, DC, and I have attended numerous mathematics and science camps in Tennessee and West Virginia.  At this time, I am unable to post my academic and extra-curricular achievements on this profile for an unknown reason, so please feel free to email me at [email protected] for my unofficial academic, extra-curricular, and athletic resume.  Thank you for your time and consideration.
