Personal Statement
Joining golf just for fun as a freshman who had never touched a golf club, I never thought I would want to go to college for golf. Starting later in the sport, I understand the meaning of hard work and determination that has to be put into the sport as well as in the classroom. Not only did I start out shooting in the 160s my freshman year and then leading into my senior fall season finishing off with a 96 and a 98 I also still maintained a very high grade average. Not only am I involved in school activities but also in my community and love to help out in any way I can. In college, I hope to get a great education while doing something I love which is something that I have found unexpectedly in golf.
