Simone Bednarik '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Simone Bednarik and I play forward on the Slovakian National Team. I typically wear the number 74 on the ice, but this season I will be number 14. As a 2021 graduate, I weigh 130 lbs. and I am 5'7. I currently attend York Community High School and am enrolled in multiple honors and AP classes. 

Since I began playing hockey at 9 years old, I immediately fell in love with the game and couldn’t get enough of it. I train on and off the ice 4 - 5 days a week. My biggest asset in the game is my speed.  I am beyond excited to play hockey in college as it has been my biggest dream as an athlete. I would like to play hockey at the highest level that I can. I also want to find a school program that will be a good fit for me not only athletically, but also academically. I am excited about my future opportunities and want to work hard to make my dream happen. I am very confident that I can carry the puck past anyone and start plays with my speed and advanced foot skills.
