Shannon Upton '17 Recruiting Profile

It is my goal to play women's hockey at the college level.  This has always been my dream since I was a little girl.  I am a strong forward, have played both left wing and center.  So far this season, my senior year, I lead my team with 14 goals. I go to Falmouth HIgh School in Falmouth, MA. I am the captain. I have been playing since I was 8 years old, it's my passion, and I love to be on the ice.  I am what they call " hockey smart", aware of my position,  a smart player who is where I am needed to be on the ice.  I pass the puck and I skate with fire.  I am looking for the opportunity to show what I am made of, and to help a team to victory.  I have played at the National level as well, making it to the USA Hockey Nationals with the Cape Cod Storm team.  I consider myself a fierce player who give 110% to each and every game.  I have many coach references that can attest to my skating abilities.  Happy to provide them if requested.
