Personal Statement
This year will be my final season playing defense on the Thayer varsity girls’ hockey team. I am a competitor. When I hit the ice whether it is for practice or a game, I give 110%.
I always show up ready to play and am a leader on the ice.
Outside of Thayer, I played for the Bay State Breakers for six seasons where I was a member of two tier 1 Massachusetts state championship teams and was also a member of the U14 tier 1 team that won the USA Hockey National Championships in Rochester, Michigan, I was a member of the USA Selects tournament team that won both the 2016 Beantown Classic in Marlborough, MA, the 2017 Blue Chip Elite Invitational (formerly known as the Reebok Cup) in Hookset, NH, as well as a few other less notable tournaments. My club team is U19 tier 1 Boston Lady Bandits out of Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
I am not only an athlete. I also enjoy cooking, creative writing, drawing and painting and volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. I play the clarinet in the jazz combo at Thayer. And also a lead tour guide. I also am the captain of the cross country team and throw shot put in the spring.
I would like to study neuroscience in college.
