Personal Statement
My name is Cierra Siemasko and I'm from Fallston Maryland, and have been playing ice hockey ever since I was 8 years old. I am currently motivated to do better each year in school so I can attend a college of my dreams. When I move onto college I hold very high standards for what I want to complete as an individual. I want to be able to play the sport I love, which would be ice hockey, along with getting a complete education. My goal is to graduate as a critical care nurse as well as embracing the college years of my life. College is the period of time where I will figure out who I am and what I will become. My athletic dreams are to play on a Division 1 Women’s Ice Hockey team in college and possibly move onto the Olympics. I know my dreams are ambitious but that makes me work even harder to obtain them. My academic dreams are to graduate as a registered nurse and be able to support myself as an independent individual. I want to become a better athlete and student while attending college and hoping to find a college that can do this for me. I know the odds are against me but I am not a stranger to hard work and I am willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish this goal. I won't let anyone or anything change my mind even if I am the only one who believes in myself and knows I can do it
