I'm a student-athlete who succeeds in both the classroom and on the ice. I am a straight A student that aspires to play hockey at the college level. I play soccer, lacrosse, and hockey, but hockey is my passion. I started playing hockey as a forward, but transitioned to defense two seasons ago, when my team needed me to. As a defenseman, who use to play center, I see the ice more fully, and I better anticipate the development of the play before it happens. This allows me to be an offensive defenseman, and I love to activate and be part of the offense when the time is right, or when needed. I am on the power play and penalty kill for my high school and club teams. I was named my high school team's most valuable player, made first team all conference and all state as a defenseman, and was named the State's most valuable player by the Sun Journal newspaper for the 2015-16 Maine High School Hockey Season. I love hockey and want to play at the highest level I can achieve.
