Sara Cameron '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sara Cameron I play defense on my hockey team in Marquette MI. I started playing on a boys hockey team when I started at the age of 5 and originally started playing right wing. After playing for 5 years I moved back to defense because I was very interested and that is where I have stayed ever since. I believe that I am a very strong player and that I see the ice very well. Although I play defense I am offensive minded to when the time is needed. 

I believe that playing college hockey will not only make me a better player, but also a better student. It will push me to do better. My goal is to study somewhere in the Criminal Justice/Law field. I am very open to many different opportunities and to see what is out there for me. I believe this last season of my hockey year I have grown as a player and will continue to do so and hopefully I can pursue my dream in playing college hockey with my hard work and effort.
