Megan Truman '18 Recruiting Profile

When I go on to college, I want to continue growing academically and athletically at a school with high academics and competitive sports. Whether it’s the first time someone has met me or someone who has known me for a long time, they know that hockey is a part of me. Hockey is one of the most influential parts of my life and character. I have been dedicated to hockey my whole life, by practicing to be the best, hustling through every hockey game, or through drawing up a game plan in my head. Hockey has been such an important influence on my character and has truly shaped me into who I am today. Hockey builds character of hard work, discipline, and being able to work with teammates. I can use these traits in school, hard life decisions, or in everyday situations. I believe that the traits that I have acquired from hockey will carry on into my life through college and adulthood.
