Mariah Houle '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mariah Houle i started playing hockey when i was 7 years old, i have loved it ever since my goal is to make it to the Olympics i will do what it takes to make it there. I have always been a top player of whatever team i have been on i have been the top scorer all through high school and on most other teams as well. i do what it takes to be the best and to better my self and my teammates. i have an incredible slap shot i can hit top shelf from center ice. I do not need a C on my jersey to be a leader i will help my teammates in whatever they need if its a laugh someone to talk to or help on or off the ice i am there. I am fun to be around i like to laugh and have a good time but i know when to be serious. i will do what it takes to win but if we lose i do what i can to pick my teammates up. I love to smile and have fun that is what hockey or sports is about having fun and making a family. In the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 season for my High school team i was named Offensive player of the year. I scored the most goals those years as well. Also 2014-2015 season i was 3rd in state for most goals. I have played other sports as well including basketball, soccer, baseball, and softball. In school my favorite subject is math my teachers have told me i should become a math teacher math is very easy and fun to me i enjoy school i get along with the kids, i enjoy the teachers i have close bonds with many of my teachers through out high school. I hope to further my education in whatever school best suits me.
