Personal Statement

I have been playing hockey since I was four years old. I work hard on and off the ice to better myself as well as my teammates. It has been my goal at an early age to play collegiate hockey. I am a team player who works hard and leads by example. I am a dedicated player who will do what needs to be done to make myself and those around me better. I am a very coachable student athlete who capitalizes on opportunites that are given to me and I will strive to be the best recruit I can for a collegiate program.

I take this same work ethic into the classroom and have been complimented by my teachers on my academic achievements and attention to detail while completing my studies.

I want to be in a collegiate program that is as competive in the classroom as they are on the Ice. I want to be challenged in both arenas to be the best that I can be as a student, leader on the ice, and a role model for other players to follow.
