2017 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Hockey has taught me so many things like leadership, friendship, and obviously coordination and physical health. Playing College hockey is my biggest dream (next to the Olympics). I have worked all winter and all summer for the past ten years to be the greatest I can possibly be in not only girls but also boys hockey, currently I have a goals saved average of 95%. I am currently the Goalie for the HS Boys Varsity team, the Ice Dogs in Bozeman MT, during my Junior year I played for CO Selects U19 AAA, my Sophomore year I was the Goalie for the MT State Select U19AA Girls team, the Wildcats and the Head Goalie for the Boys Varsity Bighorns in Helena, MT. In my first year with the Boys Varsity team we took 2nd in State against 10 teams. In the spring I keep in shape by playing softball which I have played for 15 years. I wish to become a cardiac surgeon after collage, so my main college studies will be in Pre-Medicine or Biology. I have a GPA of 3.5, I have taken 1 Honor class, 3 AP classes and a college level math class. I am currently the President of my schools Key Club which has also taught me leadership and people skills. I am willing to practice day in and day out, and when I'm not playing hockey, I'm thinking about it. I'm all business on the ice, but love to laugh when I'm off the ice. Thank you, Gabi
