Hockey is one of my passions and I am choosing to pursue it in my college career. I have been playing hockey for 6 years of my life. On the ice I am always focused and preparing. I am open to constructive criticism and apply it. I am always willing to learn more as my life goes on. I am also doing the same with my education. I keep my grades up and I study hard. I want to do my very best in whatever I do. I am always doing the right thing. My athletic, academic career, and family are most important to me.
In addition to my athletic and academic responsibilities, I make sure to give back to my community. During the hockey season, not only do I practice during the week and weekends, but I also volunteer with people with developmental disabilities. I am a mentor coach with the Buffalo Thunder Hockey Team, a hockey team that is part of the Western New York Special Hockey Association Inc. I help out people on the team and it's always so much fun. I have met so many amazing people and it has been a blast working with all of them. I like to pass down what I have learned to others.
I believe that a person's character is as important as their skills. I would describe myself as responsible and friendly. I never give up on anything. My team will count on me and I do not disappoint them. I will continue working to improve myself.
