Sara Schotanus '18 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Sara Schotanus and I am a senior at Kinnelon High School in Kinnelon New Jersey. I play for the NJ Colonials U19 tier 1 team and my primary position is wing.  I strive to be a well-rounded person and student athlete, as well as playing hockey and going to school I have a job as a cashier at a health food store, where i've learned a lot of life skills.  In school my favorite classes are history and math, but I enjoy art as well. The majors I am looking in to are Marketing, Accounting or Business and I would like to find a school that has those options available to me. When I am on the ice or in the classroom I work hard to get the best results and know how to manage my time. I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the ice. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match where I can find a balance between school and hockey.
