Personal Statement
Ever since I was little I would always go to my big brother’s hockey games and be so inspired by the game. I would tell my parents everyday that I wanted to try hockey. When I was five I laced up my skates for the first time and instantly fell in love with the game. I picked up fast and was so intrigued to learn more. Once I started to get older I wanted to really start to put in some work. I started my youth career and it was time to get better. I was the youngest on my 10uA team which really pushed me. Throughout those years I played on multiple A teams and AAA summer teams. Then my last year of my youth hockey which was 15U I knew I wanted to play college hockey. That year I had the most points in the state. And when the state tournament came around I had six out of the nine points my team had and two of them were in the state championship game when we won 2-0. When highschool rolled around I knew that grades were a first and I had to do well academically and athletically. My dream since I first tied my skates was to succeed in hockey. My dream still remains the same to this day and is my biggest goal.
