Melissa Sheeran '14 Recruiting Profile

I am a 4 year member of the Millbrook School Girl's Varsity Hockey team.  I have set the school's career and season scoring records. As a senior I scored 36 goals and added 15 assists in 22 games. I was also named New England DII Player of the Year and was named All New England 1st team. Our team was a New England DII Semifinalist. As a junior I scored 26 goals and added 27 assists in 26 games and was named All New England DII 2nd team.  Our team was New England DII Runner up, after beating Southfield and Governor's Academy in the playoffs.  I am a hard worker on the ice and in the classroom.  I would like to attend a school on the east coast but my dream is to play college hockey at the highest competitive level possible. At Millbrook, I am learning to succeed in a very challenging academic curriculum while playing a very competitive schedule against top flight teams such as Williston, Westminster, Hotchkiss and Berkshire.  This season I will be competing as a member of the Connecticut Polar Bears 19 u team. We will be playing in the Ct. Regional tournament at Trinity College on 3/21 @ 1:00 p.m. vs Mid Fairfield and 3/22 @ 2:00 p.m. vs Vt. Shamrocks. With the Championship game being played 3/23 @ 10 a.m.
