Since a young age I have aspired to play hockey at the highest level I can. My love and passion for the game has drove me to continue to improve each season so I may achieve my goal.
As a player, I believe I’m a big, strong, hard forechecker who has always had a knack for creating loose pucks and causing turnovers. I believe I can compliment gifted offensive players who are quick, dynamic and able to finish by playing hard along the boards and tough in front of the net. While I continue to hone my strengths (fitness, strength, teamwork, leadership, forecheck, defensive play), I also focus on improving my weaknesses (quickness, stick skills, finish around the net).
Off the ice I bring leadership to team through character, attitude and work ethic. In 2012-2013 I captained the Ottawa Lady Senators Bantam AA team and again in 2014-2015 captaining the Stanstead Varsity team.
Academically I have a passion for learning. I am a dedicated student who puts in work beyond expectations. I love to take part in student leadership and community service and will continue to do so as I enter my grade 12 year.
