Sadie Haas '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sadie Haas and I am looking to play softball at the highest level because I’m not giving up on my journey. This is my 5th year as a travel player. I am a dominant right-handed batter, who can also switch and hit, slap, and drag bunt from the left side as well. I usually bat first in the lineup as leadoff hitter and my job as leadoff is to make contact in any way I can. I bunt and soft slap often because I am a good base runner who brings a lot of speed or as my coach says, I damage the infield on the bases. I play middle infield and catcher. I have never been known as a "home run hitter" but that is okay because you do not need to hit home runs to achieve great things offensively. I am a contact hitter who wants to utilize my speed and help my team in any way possible. As a player, I'm still developing mentally and physically, and if I'm not pleased, I'll keep improving. We mainly learn from our mistakes. If I error in a game, the next day I will work on what I did wrong whether it be in private lessons or just by throwing it into my net at home. The biggest thing in choosing a team for me is a very supportive coaching staff. It only takes one coach to believe in you but, imagine if you had more. Thank you for reading about me.
