Personal Statement

Throughout my life I have been driven by my goal to succeed. I am dedicated to contributing to my team and my community. I am always striving to learn from my mistakes so that I can continue to improve my game. Academics are a top priority for me as well, I value challenging myself both in the classroom and on the field. I am really competitive but my main collegiate goal is to find a team of hardworking girls that share the same passion as I do to win, but understand that this requires metal focus and effort at every practice.

Awards and Activities

  • AwardsHonor Roll, CSF member
  • ActivitiesPresident of Interact Club (this involved organizing volunteer events and maintaining effective communication with club members), YMCA Youth and Government (this program consists of a mock government and legislature. I also represent the voice of my Junior Class in all ASB affairs), Junior Lifeguards captain (I participate in the San Diego Junior Lifeguard academy every summer. This is a physically demanding academy that exposes teenagers to the training that lifeguards must go through in order to work on the beach. I was awarded Captain), SeaTech internship (SeaTech is an internship program at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography that allows me to participate in analyzing research data of Beluga whales), Link Crew Leader (Link Crew is a program at La Jolla High School that helps acclimate incoming freshman to the demands and daily life of high school. NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
