For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been an athlete. My drive and sheer determination to succeed makes me a fierce competitor, and my natural talent and diligent work ethic turns my passion into results. When I want something, I go out and get it, and I won’t rest until I do.
I approach academics with the same mindset, and take pride in the fact that I am able to excel in my honors and AP classes, juggle competitive soccer and lacrosse, and also find time to volunteer and participate in extracurricular activities. I spend additional time on the weekends at Model United Nations, in which I am the vice president of the club.
On the field, I strive to be a team leader by giving more than 100% into everything, whether it be a championship game or a Saturday morning practice. I’ve been told that I’m one of the fastest girls in our division, and my ability to see the whole field and switch the ball is impressive. Being a midfielder, it’s my job to work back and forth from goal to goal, and my speed and refusal to give up is valuable when the other team is making a counterattack and I can work hard to get back on defense and get a man up. I’m aggressive to goal, and taking players on and beating them is my favorite thing to do on the field.
