Lauren Hurd '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lauren Hurd and I graduate in the spring of 2015. Lacrosse is my passion and I wish to continue playing at a competitive collegiate level. As a midfielder, I spend a lot of time making the difference in transition. I am ranked highly within the state for ground balls, as well as nationally for ground balls per game. I like to put myself in the action of the game, whether it be on defense, offense, or in transition. I'm the type of individual that puts forth a tremendous amount of effort to accomplish my goals, whether it be in the gym, on the field, or in the class room. I work very hard to improve in the offseason, specifically in regards to stick work, 1v1s, and defensive aspects of the game. In the classroom, I push myself to maintain a 4.3 cumulative GPA and remain as a top ranked student. At the collegiate level, I dream of making a difference in the game.
