When I think about lacrosse, two things come to mind. Family and challenges. Being on a lacrosse team has shown me how people of all types can come together and work as a team. I love being a team player and, in my mind, assists rank higher than goals. Lacrosse wouldn't be fun without the challenges. Being able to be pushed to your limits and having to figure out what is the best decision to make when it comes to either playing defense or running the ball down the field, is what truly gives me a rush.
Throughout my college experience, I want to study neuroscience and behavioral mental health in hopes of becoming an occupational therapist or a psychiatrist. I'm very intelligent, quick to learn new things, and I am not afraid to ask questions. When I put my mind to something, I want to not only be able to do it correctly but to the best of my ability.
