Personal Statement
Starting lacrosse my junior year, I knew gaining the skills to play at a collegiate level would be difficult but not impossible. The sport soon became one of my biggest passions, showing off my best attributes. When I set something as my goal, I devote all the effort into reaching that goal. My handwork and dedication on the field have transformed me into the player I am today.
This is not only a principle I use in lacrosse but also in my academics and life at home. When taking on new things, whether it be getting a are task at my job, or learning a new chapter in my IB classes at school, I strive to get the most out of each task to overall make me a better individual. I maintain a high GPA of 3.7 and take the most challenging classes offered at my school by participating in the IB Program. When I am not on the lacrosse field, I volunteer at a hospital in my local area and work 2 part time jobs.
I would love to attend a school that challenges me both in lacrosse and in my academic life. I enjoy being involved in many extracurriculars and would love a school that would give me the opportunity to get involved in student life, academics and athletics.
