Although only being in the sport for 3 years, I can definitely say I bring my heart and soul out on the field. I always strive to play with 110% effort, no matter the opponent or condition. At the same time, I try to make the game fun and learn from every possible mistake or accomplishment that happens. As well as, sharing those game time memories with the rest of my team that you look back at during the whole season.
Coming from basketball has changed the way I’ve been able to look at lacrosse and how other teams set up. This gives me a small advantage in knowing certain defensive strategies, as well as knowing to be quick on your feet. I’ve been able to bring out certain tactics and help towards our team to help us in the best way possible.
I tend to balance out my sports with my academics. I strive for the best grades and scores I can possibly get. So when approaching college, it’s good to understand the importance behind grades and sports; how they go hand and hand with each other.
