Personal Statement
Fall2020 - I am a returning as a Senior on my Varsity HS team this Spring, Sequoyah High School in Canton, GA. I am a starting Middie - Draw Specialist and one of four captains on my team. I helped lead my team to the State Playoffs two years in a row. I earned my Varsity letter in Lacrosse every year since Freshman year, where we had the first winning season of our four year high school program and entered the State Playoffs, also for the first time ever in our history. I played on the High School JV team as an 8th grader and was honored to be awarded the Offensive Player of the Year award for the Spring 2017 season by my coaches, and MVP award by my teammates. I play club teams in the Summer/Fall and go to a lot of tournaments. I was honored to be chosen to represent Georgia last Summer in the National Lacrosse Classic also. I have been nominated as a Positive Athlete for GA in 2020. I also love to run and was on my HS Cross Country team for three years. When I'm not playing sports, I am either drawing or hanging out with friends and my dog Sandy. I am currently also doing work based learning at a PT clinic near school and working at the outlet mall in a retail clothing store. I hope to become a Physical Therapist and have committed to Wingate Univ to play Lacrosse after graduation.
