Reagan Martinez '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches, thank you for your interest and for viewing my profile. My goal is to play college lacrosse at a competitive school where I will receive a quality education and play alongside teammates that inspire, support and share my love of the game.  

For the 2022 high school season, my team earned our second regional championship (junior and sophomore years). We advanced to Elite 8 of state playoffs in 2022 and Sweet 16 in 2021. I recorded 42 ground balls, 20 caused turnovers, 3 goals and 4 assists as a starting defender during the 2022 season. I was also named to the FCA All Star team in 2022.

My ability to be a shut-down defender is one of my stand out attributes, along with my speed, 1v1 skills and my consistent communication on the field. I continue to play club ball in the fall and summer to further enhance my skills. A few of my strengths include being tenacious, easily coachable and having a team oriented mind set. I love playing lacrosse, it’s one of my passions and I enjoy the competition of the sport. What also sets me apart is my high energy level and positive spirit. I studied Taekwondo for over six years and have earned my 2nd degree black belt. I attribute my defensive skills and solid footwork to my time training in Martial Arts.
