Personal Statement
I have been playing lacrosse since I was 6 years old, out in Illinois they had very few teams for my age so I had to play with 12 years olds when I was in first grade. I feel as though that experience of competing against girls twice my size and age was what got me to be the player that I am today. I think what sets me aside from most other players is the motivation that I have. On days that my club team does not have any practices or games I am at the gym running and lifting weights only to be better than what I was yesterday. Every time I step out on the lacrosse field I feel like I am in a whole different world and I can set everything else going on in my life aside and play the game that I love. I work harder and harder everyday and I think that my self motivation and leadership is what makes me different from other players. In school I work extremely hard to do the best that I can possibly do.
