Personal Statement
When I started lacrosse my freshman year in high school I had never seen yet alone played in a lacrosse game. Up to this point I had only played AAU and varsity basketball as well as field hockey. I jumped in fearless. My first game I played maybe five minutes and got the ball once or twice. By the middle of the season I was dominating the field. By sophomore year I was a leader on our team and was getting good feedback from competitors and other coaches. Playing lacrosse gives me confidence and is an outlet to stress that I have going on. For that time I am on the field I forget about everything except my mission to do the best I can and help my team members do their best. Coming into this sport I have been less experienced than most girls but I have made it my goal to not play like I am less experienced. I fell in love with the game and want to continue to get better with every opportunity that I can.
