Emma Doyal '25 Recruiting Profile

   My name is Emma Doyal and I play lacrosse for C.E. Byrd Highschool in Shreveport, LA. I’ve been playing lacrosse as a varsity starter for a total of 4 years so far, 3 years with my current team and 1 with Red River Lacrosse Club Team. Being a varsity-level multi-sport athlete, my speed, endurance, quick thinking, coachability, field-awareness and ability to catch on easily when it comes to learning new skills, helps me thrive on the field. As a player, I like to remain optimistic and bubbly on the field as it can be an intense and stressful time. I demonstrate leadership towards my teammates as a captain on the field and a friend/classmate off the field. I also received Offensive MVP of the Year Award for my 2023 season. 

         I am fully dedicated to my athletics, training 6-7 days a week year round while taking all AP/Honors classes, maintaining a 4.85 GPA. Along with all of my sports and academics, I am very involved within my school and my community.  I am a member of 13 academic and service clubs at my school, holding top level officer positions in them as well. Serving my community is something I enjoy greatly and I received the Presidential Service Award in 2023 and again in 2024. I also have received A Honor Roll Awards for every school year so far. 

   Lacrosse is the sport that I've found makes me the happiest and the most determined when it comes to working with others while generating success on the field. I would be honored and it would be a dream come true to have the opportunity to continue on with the sport in college while maintaining my successes academically. For my future profession, my heart is set on being a Physical Therapist as my lifetime of passion for sports and helping others is what points me towards this career choice.
