Obviously, it is every lacrosse player's dream to play for a Division Lacrosse team. I have been playing lacrosse since the 6th grade, and playing goalie specifically since the 7th grade. Lacrosse has literally saved my life. During the middle school I started becoming depressed, and even got as far as cutting myself. Without lacrosse, I probably wouldn't be here anymore. Having the sport to help me through the hard times of adolescence, was something extremely important to me. Suffering from depression caused me to lose all hope for myself, I didn't do my school work, I didn't talk to anyone, I became dangerously secluded. I continued on this path until February of this year, when I told my guidance counselor about the severity of my depression. I am now on anti-depressants, and working to get my GPA up to where I know it can be. I hope that you please take this into consideration, as I am working very hard to better myself for my education and the sport of lacrosse. Last year being my sophomore year, I was the starting varsity goalie for our lacrosse team at Oakmont Regional High school. Over the past summer I joined the IAS lacrosse team, and will be doing a number of tournaments later in the year. Continuing lacrosse in college is a dream I am willing to do anything to keep. I plan on majoring to become a Physician Assistant, or Pre-Med to a Physician Assistant Graduate program. I've always had an interest in biology and the human anatomy, and have no doubt that I would excelle in a medical program. Please, do contact me if you are interested, I would love to hear from any possible opportunities I have yet to find.
Thank you for your interest!!
