Personal Statement

Playing lacrosse in college would be a life changing opportunity for me. Lacrosse has been a part of my life since the 5th grade, and it is hard to imagine my life without it. This sport has given me many opportunities on and off the lacrosse field. Two summers ago, I played in the Maccabi Games for the Baltimore delegation, which was an amazing opportunity allowing me to represent my state by winning a gold medal. Because of the Maccabi Games, I now volunteer with Israel Lacrosse, a organization aimed to teach lacrosse to Israeli people. In addition, I volunteer with Shootout for Soldiers, helping them plan their annual lacrosse event that benefits veterans. My goal is to find the perfect school for me; one that challenges me academically and on the field. I want to be a member of a team that feels like a family, always encouraging me to improve and work my hardest. I am a very coachable athlete, always taking critiques from my coaches and putting forth more effort to improve them. On the field, I always hustle and encourage my fellow teammates to do the same. I am also determined in the classroom by doing more than is expected of me. I enjoy being a student athlete because it makes me unique and encourages me to sharpen my time management skills. I am willing to consider all potential options, because one will hopefully be the perfect fit for me.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
