Quinn McElroy (COMMITTED) '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Quinn McElroy and I have been a multi-sports athlete for most of my life.  I've played lacrosse, basketball, track & field, powerlifting and been a 10-year competitive dancer, gymnast and competitive cheerleader.  I am now a Senior in high school for 2022/23 and 4-year Varsity LAX player, whose team won our league championship in 2021, bumping us up to the top division, where we finished with a respectable 11-5 (3rd place) record for 2022.  

I was voted co-MVP as a sophomore and Captain in my junior year. In my last season as a junior (2022) I had 98 Draw Controls, 61 Goals, 37 Loose Ball Controls, 25 Caused Turnovers and 12 Assists. In spite of a 5-game quarantine my sophomore year, I was a top 3 scorer for the team, #2 for avg ground balls per game and #1 for draw controls per game.   I'm known for my speed & agility.  On my school team, I play midi & attack. On my club team, I play those plus  a lot of defense.   I pass and shoot with my left or right hand.  Two quick stats:  my most recent 10 yard dash was 1.93 and my 5-10-5 Shuttle was 5.03.  I want to pursue an education in health and fitness and would love to do this while playing organized lacrosse.  Being a part of a team is something I love!

*  HS team in the MHSAA record book for number of goals in a season (291 goals).  
*  HS team broke school record for most wins in a season.
*  HS team received MWLCA Team-Academic All-State for team GPA of 3.95.
*  I currently play for the #1 ranked club lacrosse program in MI.
