Personal Statement
I love playing lacrosse, it truly holds a passion in my heart. In every practice and game I give 110% in everything I do. I believe that you should always give your best effort in everything you do. Setting high goals and standards for myself although me to grow and learn from my mistakes and experiences, so that I can improve everyday. Making plays and scoring by using my speed and agility makes me a unique and flexible player. My passion and willingness to learn on the field contribute to a forever expanding knowledge for lacrosse. Practice and a positive mind set are critical to a successful career on and off the field. Having fun and working hard should be found in every athlete and I believe that these are characteristics that I have. Getting All-State midfielder this year was such a great award to receive, because it truly represents all the dedication and love that I have for the game. Outside of sports, I enjoy participating in HOSA which I am currently the vice president for and Student Council where I am the junior class president. These clubs help me prepare for my future by strengthening my communication skills and my leadership skills. Both of those skills are critical to lacrosse, having good communication and leadership skills can help in the unification of a team and lead to a successful season. I also participate in track, which has exponentially helped with my speed and endurance on the field. The events I compete in are: javelin, 100 meter, 200 meter, pole vault, and 4x100 relay. The speed and endurance I acquired in track help with my hustle on the field and greatly improved my endurance to allow me to run for longer periods of time. I am looking forward to what the future holds, and I am extremely excited to take that next step in my life.
