Personal Statement
Goal number one is to find a college that is a good fit for me! College size is not important; I want to be part of a school/team that stresses teamwork. I believe that a team is only as strong as their weakest player and that a good and focused group of players should work hard to help ALL of their teammates raise their game. We should all have the same goal...we have to want to win and to do whatever we need to do to win!
My plan is to major in something medical in college. I am currently undecided but have narrowed it down (I think) to sports medicine or nursing. I began playing lacrosse in 6th grade after deciding that swimming was not as fun for me as it had in the past. I love this sport and the learning that goes along with it. Practices, clinics, and camps keep me striving to get better with each game and each season. I believe that skill are important but that hard work is even more important. I am an athlete. I have played varsity tennis for the past two years; it's a fun game and my teammates have been amazing but my true love is lacrosse. Tennis will be my lifelong sport but lacrosse is my passion.
