After school in fifth grade, I saw an older girl playing wall ball at the park while riding my bike. My eyes moved as she threw the ball to the same spot on the wall several times. I was intrigued, but also curious. I swam for a CYO swim team, Olan Girls, and played softball before beginning my lacrosse journey in the summer of fifth grade. I found myself playing lacrosse, never knowing the passion I would soon have for the sport. I started my lacrosse journey with Brooklyn Crescents Lacrosse. From there, I made my high school's varsity lacrosse team after making the track team. Now as rising senior, my goal is to have a competitive academic and athletic life at college. In track, I run the 200 and 400-meter events. Track has helped me become quick off the 8-meter when taking a shot and quick when riding. Not only am I eager to win every game (even the toughest ones), but I want to improve my skills in practices, uplift my teammates when they are having tough days/practices, and be the best individual I can be in my community. I am part of Xaverian's Biomedical Club, Psychology Club, Key Club, a leader of Xaverian's Campus Ministry team, a volunteer at several disability organizations (Fast Feet and the Brooklyn Autism Center), and a volunteer at my local church (Saint Andrew the Apostle Roman Catholic Church). Additionally, I excel in the classroom, striving to be the best student I can be by studying at home, going after school to test prep reviews, and asking for help when needed. I have a strong work ethic and never give up when facing obstacles.
