When I first stared playing lacrosse in the third grade, I would have never imagined my passion for the sport growing into what it is today. I am determined to play lacrosse at the collegiate level. I endeavor in any task I am given, wether it is athletic or academics. I have an unyielding work ethic that I illustrate in everything I do.
In the seventh grade, I started on the JV team. Through out this season I truly understood the meaning of teamwork, dedication, perseverance, and liability. In the 8th grade I was pulled up to the Varsity team, and given an opportunity to play at a higher competition level. Playing for a Varsity and club/travel I have acquired the skills of time management, self motivation, decision making, and communication skills. I am a coachable athlete who not only listens, but has the willingness to act on that correction. In addition to playing lacrosse, I am a competitive Track athlete. Last year my team and I qualified for the 2017 indoor Sectional Championships. Competing in track has also translated into lacrosse. Participating in several sports has increase my mental and physical strength as an athlete.
It may seem most of my life revolves around sports however, I take my education very seriously. Through out my high school career I have taken honors and advance placement classes; Honors Chemistry and AP World History. Currently in my junior year, I have enrolled in AP Physics and AP U.S History. I take tremendous pride in my work and currently have a 4.18 GPA. I plan on continuing to add to my academic achievements and peruse a career in the medical field. I am beyond grateful and humble for the opportunities I have been given.
