Personal Statement
My dreams, goals, and aspirations are to be successful beyond all means. But, what does it mean to be successful? Even myself can't answer that. Maybe it is seeing my parents proud of me; making them smile when then see me hit the field. Success comes from all places. A strong contributor in being successful is education. It's surprising as a teen to enjoy learning. I'm always catching myself being involved in something that the end result is me knowing another thing I didn't know before. My dream.... My dream is to go to college and graduate. I want to be educated, and I know my future lays in my hands. So, whatever move I make mimics my future. My goals are something that are daily. I always set a goal for myself whether it be to receive a high grade on a test or help out others in need. I'm always setting a goal and conquering it. My aspirations would be to be someone someday. To be someone that can help others; to be a good person. I have a long way to go from being successful but I'm in it for the battle and will do whatever means necessary. I've always been into sports especially Lacrosse. I didn't have an opportunity to play Lacrosse until I reached high school. I tried out and was told immediately I am a natural athlete and am able to adapt fast and well. I have natural defensive skills so I was assigned goalie position. As soon as I put the gear on I fit comfortably in it. My coach started training me and was astonished as to how fast I adapted and was able to defend the goal well. The majority of the games I played I was saving above 50%. The other teams' goalie coaches would commend me after the game and ask how long I've been playing and I would always say, "This is my first year" referees would also comment on my performance. My skill is always there to be improved and I am a person who can adapt fast and well. I work hard and will continue on to take all opportunity I can achieve.
