Personal Statement
I’m Kyra George and lacrosse is my absolute passion. My goal is to play at a highly competitive level in college. I know this will take an extraordinary commitment and hard work. You can count on me to put in the effort both on and off the field. I started playing lacrosse with my Dad when I was in 3rd grade. We still throw and shoot in the back yard. We constantly challenge each other to get better. I love learning the game…strategies, techniques and team-work. I’m pumped for UNC lax camp this summer and working with coaches and players from all over the country. To achieve my ultimate goal of playing D1 lacrosse, I’m building on a plan with my parents, teachers, coaches and NSCA. Academics is critical to my success and I’m focused in the class room. Speed is my key differentiator and I’ll continue to train and workout with PTs to get stronger and faster. I love to run!!! I’m also a team-player and motivated for team success rather than individual awards. Forcing a turn over, creating a fast break and watching my teammate score fires me up. I’m ready to meet coaches and players and define my path to college lacrosse.
