I am a very determined, hard working yet funny and grounded girl looking to major in Civil or Aeronautical Engineering, as well as play lacrosse in college.
When I was a little girl, someone made the comment that "girls can't play hockey" so naturally I wanted to play. As a matter of fact, up until last year I also played ice hockey, not as a goalie but as a wing. This gave me the opportunity to meet Kelly Stack who was a member of the USA women's hockey team; I even got to hold her Olympic Silver metal! Though I really enjoyed playing both sports, the travel involved in them ended up forcing me to choose between the two of them. It was a hard decision to make, but in the end I chose lacrosse. I really love playing as well as watching lacrosse. As a lacrosse goalie, there is no better feeling than making a great save for my team. I know what it takes to be able to accomplish my goals and am willing to put the effort into making them a reality.
I am currently working with a new goalie coach to improve my skills and technique.
