Dylan Retzloff '23 Recruiting Profile

I am looking for a college that offers the opportunity to grow through lacrosse and continue my drive for academic success.  I aspire to be the best student and teammate I can be by setting a strong example in the classroom and every time I step on the field. Through school, I challenge myself by taking AP and Honors courses while keeping a high GPA.  As a player, I have worked extremely hard the past few years to maintain good fitness and to improve my skills in the game. During my time playing lacrosse, I have developed a mindset that will absolutely drive me to be the best I can be. I am very coach-able and willing to step into any position on the field the team needs to be successful (e.g. Defense, Midfielder, Goalie). I am not afraid of feedback and constructive criticism because my goal is to continually improve. I’m very competitive and give 100% to every play while still conducting myself with courtesy and respect for everyone.

My goal is to pursue a science major to equip myself for a career in forensic science or criminal justice. This goal along with my love for the game of lacrosse will continue to drive me to work hard as both a student and athlete. My passion for this sport drives me to seek a higher level of play beyond high school.  I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and in lacrosse. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match that best addresses both of these goals.
