My name is Ainsley Snell and I am a raising senior (class of 2024) at Episcopal High School.
I am a strong, aggressive, technical, and well rounded player who is specializes in defensive and pride myself on being a team player. I am very coachable and enjoy learning in order to improve my skill and lacrosse IQ to become a more well rounded player. I have been playing lacrosse for the past six years and am a three-year HS varsity player/two-year starter at EHS (sophomore/junior). I also play for GRIT Houston 2024 which has elevated my play through more competitive and aggressive games. I have a very strong desire to advance my skills as a committed team player and to contribute to the success of both my teams and fellow teammates.
In addition to lacrosse, I am cheerleader using my gymnastics background. Although on the complete opposite end of the spectrum, the skills learned from cheerleading has taught me to be light on my feet and the importance of being agile in lacrosse. I currently have over a 4.0 GPA and take honor classes for my core subjects and on the honor role. I am involved in student senate, English Honor Society, National Honor Society (NHS), and perform community outreach through National Charity League.
For college, I am interested in both engineering and computer science while playing lacrosse at the next level. I have a passion for playing defense and thrive in a very competitive atmosphere including academics. I am looking for a college program that will challenge me both athletically and academically while providing a disciplined structure of a college lacrosse program.
