I started playing lacrosse in 5th grade. I played midfield, but I moved where I was needed. I went to a local camp every summer where I was one of the only girls, so I grew up playing with boys. Coaches have told me they can tell by my play style. I now coach new, young, players at the camp.
My club only had a varsity team, and I earned a starting position on defense. Sophomore year, I started on attack. This season (junior year), we split into JV and Varsity teams for the first time, and I am captain of the Varsity team. I start as an offensive middie or a defensive middie. I was named an All State Player (position at large), and my team won the district championship. I am comfortable with both hands and have great footwork and defensive fundamentals. I am a strong leader with a high lacrosse IQ. I am always working looking to improve myself and my teammates. I am disciplined and coachable. I take pride in always finishing the last rep just as strong as the first one, finishing through the line, having high energy, and encouraging my teammates.
I work hard for high grades and earned a 4.2317 GPA (3.878 unweighted). I hope to play collegiate lacrosse at any level, and I want to study to become a pediatric psychologist or a forensic scientist.
