Faith Piser '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Faith Piser and I am a rising junior at Colonial Forge High school in Stafford Virginia. I am a multi-sport athlete and have played on the women’s varsity lacrosse team since I was a freshman and on the women’s varsity basketball team since I was a sophomore.  Growing up with two older brothers taught me to be tough and made me extremely competitive in everything I do. I have played lacrosse since I was 8 years old and basketball since I was 6 years old.  I thoroughly enjoy playing basketball, but I have a passion for playing lacrosse.    

I originally began my lacrosse career as a midfielder but soon found my calling on attack.  My number one strength in the game is my ability to see the field. Scoring is super important to me, but I love feeding my teammates. This has allowed me to learn to be a selfless player with a team first mentality.  My priority is not to run up my own stats but do whatever I need to do to help my team win.  I am a natural lefty which gives me a leg up on my opponents as most girls have been trained to defend the right side. I have worked hard on being dynamic with both hands, but I excel with the stick on my left side. I train for speed and agility and use my explosiveness to shake defenders and create space for scoring opportunities for my teammates and I.

I push myself in school by taking Advance Placement and Honors courses and classes. I plan on pursuing a career in sports medicine or athletic training and would love to work professionally at the collegiate level.  I want to attend a college that will help me achieve this goal. I am an extremely hard worker and cannot wait to take on this new challenge and see where I end up! Please look at my NCSA profile.
