Personal Statement
Hi! Thank you for viewing my profile. I would like to start out by saying that I pride myself on my work ethic on and off the field. As a freshman at Nathan Hale HS in 2014, I had to work extremely hard to earn the respect of my veteran teammates and staff to earn a starting slot at Attack on varsity. I was actually the first freshman to ever start on Hale's Varsity Lacrosse team. Lacrosse has been a huge part of my life since I started playing organized lacrosse in 3rd grade, this is my 11 year playing. During the winter, I also play point guard for my varsity basketball team which keeps me in shape come spring. In addition, during the Summer and fall/winter I play for Puget Sound Select (PSS) for WA Hall of Fame coaches: Tami Tomilla (Bainbridge) and Jamie Asaka (Lakeside) where they play me at attack (my natural position). My sophomore season I was honored to have been selected All-Conference at Midfield finishing 4th overall in scoring (42 goals) out of 159 players in the North Sound Conference. State-wide, I finished the 2015 season ranked 13th overall in scoring out of 1029 players in Washington. In addition to scoring, I was needed as a draw specialist as well where I ended up ranking 2nd in the state for draw control. After the many ackolades I had received last season, what I am *most* proud of is being selected Captain by my team for the 2016 season! Academically, I own a 2.7 GPA and working hard through my IEP program to improve it.
My teammates and coaches I feel would describe me as an unselfish leader on the field, a strong finisher, and someone who would never let a funny moment slip by! :)
